Last night was the first show of our 2013 North American tour. Thanks to everyone in Montclair, New Jersey who came to see us perform!
Check out this amazing photo taken by Joe Papeo for www.TheWaster.com which made it onto Rolling Stone’s Hottest Live Photos Of 2013. Thanks Joe!

It has been close to impossible…but we’ve narrowed down our pool of finalists to just four!
We’ll spend the weekend deliberating on which design will take the grand prize and on Monday we will announce who will see their design go into production, receive the final finished t shirt, an autographed limited edition 7” of their choosing, and a phone call from any band member they would like.

I Think I’m Paranoid T-shirt Contest Update:
Look at all of your amazing submissions!
As you can imagine it has been nearly impossible for us to choose one winner…so we’ve decided to push back our official announcement date by a few days.
Today we bring you each band member’s favorite submissions.
Tomorrow we will announce each band member’s pick for winner.
Monday we will announce our official contest winner.
We want to emphasize that this has been really difficult and even if you didn’t make it into the short list, that doesn’t mean your design wasn’t fantastic or that it failed in anyway. There never is a question of one thing being “better” than another where art is concerned. These designs just happened to appeal most to each of us on this particular day.
Thanks to everyone who submitted!!

Our official music video for “Big Bright World”, directed by the amazing Julie Orser and featuring some of our wonderful fans in the under water scenes.
We just got a stack of these lovely posters for our show Thursday night with The Flaming Lips, Pondamonium, at the Madison Mallards baseball stadium.
There are still some tickets available or you can buy the “Not Your Kind of People” LP between now and Wednesday at Strictly Discs in Madison and be entered to win a pair. The shop is also giving a lucky 15 of those LP buyers a signed version of the record. You can buy the album either online or in-store to enter!
Crane.tv was nice enough to interview us and film our London Brixton Academy gig. Check out part 1 above, continued to part 2 below:
Los Angeles-area darklings,
Due to the speed at which our upcoming October show, as well as the El Rey gigs that started our tour have sold out, we are moving our October 2 date from the Wiltern to the Palladium.
The show of support for this tour has been absolutely overwhelming and we want to be sure that we can play for as many of you as possible within our tight fall schedule.
All tickets purchased for the Wiltern will be honored at the Palladium, and a limited amount of additional tickets will go on sale Friday, July 27 at 10 AM at LiveNation.com.
Thanks and see you then!
