Dears, darklings and little bones
It’s coming up to the 14th of February. Being that we have a new song called “I Hate Love” and having been blown away with the artistic efforts made by you all for the Garbage Cover Contest we decided we would like to see your love-hating artistic creations - paintings, drawings, photos inspired by this event. However, unlike the Garbage Cover Contest which was not run by Garbage, this is an official request by us.
Please submit your lovely works of art to ihatelove@garbage.com by 10pm PST Friday, February 10th and we’ll incorporate them into something special that we’ll reveal on the dreaded day itself….. Valentine’s Day.
*Please keep file size to 2MB and under.
We’ve added a second live show in Los Angeles at the El Rey for the evening of April 9.
Tickets will go on sale Saturday, February 11 at 10am PST on Ticketmaster. There will be a 2 ticket limit per person and the entire show will be forced will call–meaning you will need to present your credit card and ID to pick up your tickets the night of the show, then you and your guest will immediately enter the venue.
We have put these ticket buying measures into place so as to protect as many real garbage fans as possible. We want our fans be able to get tickets for as reasonable a price as possible. NOT the scalpers. Unfortunately we don’t have a solution to the scalper problem but these measures should help protect our fans.
But remember……….these measures don’t guarantee you a ticket! We have not played in 7 years and as a result our shows are selling very fast.
Good luck. Thanks for everything.
sincerely

UPDATE: Here is the ticket link for Saturday morning: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/2C00483FF159518E
Tickets for our London and Paris gigs are officially SOLD OUT.
Los Angeles pre-sale tickets have sold out, but general sale will recommence at 10am PST tomorrow.
Some of you have expressed concerns about how quickly the Los Angeles pre-sale tickets disappeared. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the scalpers right now. We are so sad and sorry that this goes on and we’re working with our touring partners on how to fix this problem going forward and to make sure this and future gigs can be filled with as many fans as possible.
We are adding more live dates over the coming weeks and months, so keep a eye here for more opportunities to see us this summer.

Garbage - Shirley Manson (vocals), Steve Marker (guitars, keyboards), Duke Erikson (guitars, keyboards) and Butch Vig (drums, loops) - will hit the road this spring in support of the album by performing several headlining shows as well as various festivals throughout Europe and the U.S. with more dates to be confirmed.
“Thinking about going back on the road is both thrilling and terrifying in equal measure,” said Shirley Manson. “………but we’ve always enjoyed a little pain mixed in with our pleasure.”
